We would like to thank everyone for coming out to the 3M Ski / Board Social Club Membership Drive and Trip Sign Up night at Andiamo’s in Eagan on September 26th. There was a really good turnout and it was great to see some faces from the past, many returning Club members, and always good to see new members joining. Good food, good social evening and lots of excitement around upcoming activities and this year’s Trips.
We also want to thank everyone for your continued input on where you want to go on Trips, the type accommodation, and Ski Towns. Updated survey comming soon.
Big White, Kelowna, BC Feb 1-Feb8. 2025-Sold Out
We are pleased to announce Trip Leaders: Sue Malecha and Felix Lin.
We are officially sold out for Big White and are now establishing a Waiting List. Note on average we find that 8-10% of the participants unfortunately need to drop out for health concerns, family, and work, to name a few reasons. If you were late in signing up, and have a strong desire to go on Big White 2025, please let Sue and Felix know, as we are establishing a wait list for Big White.
Big White is a first for the 3M Ski Club. Big White is the highest summit in the rolling Okanagan Highlands, receiving an average 24.5 ft of snow each year. Being located in central British Columbia, Big White is known for its famous fluffy champagne powder, affectionately known as ‘hero snow’. Great snow, awesome glades, bowls and a variety of terrain for beginners to advanced skiers.
Up to 6-days of skiing with 7 nights’ accommodation at the Ski-in and Ski-out, Stonebridge Lodge and Sundance Condos. Experience the Okanagan Region, a fantastic destination for wine enthusiasts. Over 40 wineries are within a 20-minute drive. Explore Okanagan Lake and look for Canada’s version of the Loch Ness Monster, Ogopogo, we suggest you get some help by sampling a few micro brews in Kelowna

Telluride, CO; March 22-March 29, 2025
We are pleased to announce Trip Leaders: Christine Pederson and Denise Dunham.
It’s time to go for the GOLD and experience the #1 Rated Ski Resort and iconic Ski Towns in North America (Conde Naste). It’s been over 10 years since the 3M Ski Club last hit the slopes at Telluride. Telluride experiences on average 18.25 ft snow fall. Along with a good average snowfall, Telluride has a high elevation, at 13,150 ft at the summit, thus letting the winter develop into March, we should be in for some great Skiing and Riding. Breathtaking views of the San Juan Mountains, with over 148 runs, known for advanced terrain, but also offers more than 50% beginner and intermediate runs. There will be up to 6-days of skiing with 7 nights’ accommodation at the Bear Creek Condos, beautifully situated in the Mountain Village, for easy ski-in and ski-out access.
You need to experience the town of Telluride nestled in a box canyon, explore the many restaurants, shops, bars, and arts of charming Telluride.

Valle Nevado, Chile; August 28-Sep 6, 2025
Pisco and Powder !!! Another first for the 3M Ski Club, Valle Nevado is situated in the Spectacular Andes Mountains.Come to Valle Nevado to experience Skiing/Boarding in August/September … YES … skiing / boarding in South America.
Valle Nevado is South America’s premier ski resort with the most infrastructure in terms of modern lifts and extensive snow making.
Valle Nevado is also known as the 3 Valleys of South America, with an interconnect lift ticket to ski/board: La Prava, El Colorado, and Valle Nevado. We have an all-inclusive Package which includes breakfast, dinner, ski passes (up to 7.5 days), transfers from Airport and the Resorts.
Valle Nevado is an IKON resort; you can use your 2025 IKON pass at Valle Nevado. For those considering IKON for 2026, in March of 2025, take advantage of the 2025-2026 IKON discounted sell prices for IKON. For those that will be using IKON passes, we are inquiring how we can get a discount on the all-inclusive package rate, for IKON pass holders. Note: El Colorado and La Prava are not IKON.
Valle Nevado has recently shared with the 3M Ski Club a limited time offer for the week of August 28 – September 6th.
That brings the Trip to $2700 for up to 7.5 days of skiing, lifts, breakfast, dinner, along with 2 nights in Santiago, for a 11-day Trip (airfare is separate and being worked on, since we are out more than 9 months, but assume for now an estimated airfare cost of: $1200-$1400 airfare). Extensions and side Trip Options will be available, by all means take advantage of this adventure.
We are now at 16 confirmed Participants and another 8+ that are strongly considering Valle Nevado.
