Here is a very overdue email update on Club planned events and a status update on the 2027 trips. The Program Committee has come up with some new experiences for us, new places for happy hours and dinners and our membership meeting is confirmed. Speaking of membership, it’s time again to renew your membership for Sept 1 2026 – August 31, 2027. So come to the event on October 8th (see below) to renew your membership or if you are not able to make the event – go on Hootline to renew Membership – Hootline and send in your check for $20.00 to:

1. Thirsty Thursday Happy Hour September 17, 2026 5pm-7:30pm
2. Annual Cook Off Event Saturday September 26th, 2026 starting at 5:00 pm. This year’s theme: Around the World / International Cook-off. Bring your favorite dish resenting cuisine of any country. There will be a prize for the winners in each of the three categories: appetizer/Salad, main dish or dessert. Winners are chosen by anonymous voting of all who attend. If you enter a dish-it’s free. If you are a member but don’t enter a dish please join us for a cost of $10. Non-Members $15. Free beer and wine will be provided by the club.
3. Membership and Trip Sign-Up Event – Thursday October 8th, 2026 starting at 5:00 pm
Join in for this important event to kick off our new year of membership, trips and great activities. We are returning to the Andiamo in Eagan for the delicious Italian food and great spacel The event is free for everyone attending, there will be a raffle for some coveted prizes and if you bring a friend interested in joining, you will receive double the raffle tickets. You’ll hear a detailed Club update, 2027 Ski Trip updates, Program updates and more. It’s time… to reconnect and hear about what’s coming up. Parking instructions will be provided in advance of the event for those who RSVP.

Trip News:
Whitefish Jan 30-Feb 6: Currenty 30-35 spots are filled. We have 5 spots remaining. This is the first time three Minnesota Ski clubs are coming together (Sitzmark, Traverski and 3M Ski clubs). Whitefish Mountain is a laidWhitefish Mountain Resort is a laid‑back, high‑value, Ski and Adventure destination. It is known for its expansive terrain, friendly vibe and Snow Ghosts.
Whitefish is a Skier’s town with plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy. We will be staying in 2-bedroom/2-bath and 3-bedroom/3-bath condos at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake.
Along with Great Skiing / Boarding, discounted Lift Tickets, the Lodge has Spa, pools, hot tubs, fitness area, and Live Entertainment. Come Ski the Fish with us.

If you missed the early trip sign-up, please let us know as a waitlist is now established. Historically, Ski Trips have a 5-10% drop rate due to family, health, and work demands. If you are interested in Banff (with Jasper Option feel free to let our Trips Leaders know (Christine Pederson and Kim Kritzer) and or Ross McLean (VP of Trips), or any of our 3M Ski Club Board Members.
Giant’s Ridge, MN, Feb 21-Feb 23, 2027
If you can’t fit in a Western Trip this year, please join us at Giant’s Ridge. It’s always fun, there is a good variety of runs, good snow, and it’s a Great Value and Great Experience. The resort is 210 miles from St.Paul. The trip offers 2 nights accomodation and up to 3 days of skiing (with discounted lifts).
