This is a special announcement that we’ve added another trip to this year’s line-up! 3M Ski / Board and Social Club is excited to announce a March Break Trip to Giant’s Ridge, Biwabik, MN, Sunday March 9 – Tuesday March 11th, 2025.

We are taking advantage of low traffic, low prices, and great snow by extending a weekend starting Sunday, March 9 to Tuesday, March 10. Enjoy up to 3 days of skiing/riding (S, M and T) with 2 nights (Sunday and Monday). There is so much to enjoy including a hosted Welcome Reception, Meet-n-Ski, Apres Ski Activities, hot tub, swimming pool, spa, and work-out area in a pristine northwoods setting. Keeping with our theme for 2025, ski-in, ski-out Condo accommodations at the Lodge. The Lodge has an on-site bar, along with the Burnt Onion located a few steps out of the door. For planning purposes, Lodging will run a price range from an estimated $250 per person (4 per Condo) to $450 (for 2 per Condo). Here is a chance to arrange your own roommates, or we can assist to pair you up in a condo based on your price points and how the trip is filling out. We’ve secured discounted “Group Rate” Lift Tickets are available for those who register and purchase through the 3M Ski Club.
Group Lift Ticket: Sunday $68.91; Weekday Monday & Tuesday $47.03 per day
Group Lift Ticket (Seniors 62+): Sunday $60.38, Weekday Monday & Tuesday $43.75 per day
If you are interested in cross-country skiing, Nordic tickets can be purchased separately online or on site. There are some great trails. Yes this DOES sound like an incredible trip! See the attached Flyer for more info. Here’s a summary of what you’ll need to do next to join in the trip:
Step 1: Complete the linked Trip Sign-up Sheet Trip Sign Up Form 2024-2025 – Hootline (which includes sending in a $75 deposit) and send into the Club PO Box. Also RSVP on on Hootline RSVP: Giant’s Ridge March 9-11, 2025 – Hootline
Step 2: Once you RSVP on Hootline, Janet Prust, Trip Leader will confirm your sign-up is received and go over the next steps for lodging. Janet’s email is: janet.prust@gmail.com.
Step 3: You need to be a Club member to take advantage of this trip. Here is the link to sign up and info on where to send the $20 membership fee if you are not currently a member. Membership Form 2024-25 – Hootline Remember – membership is open to non-3M employees as well so bring a friend or family member or two with you to Giant’s Ridge!
Step 4: Plan for your own transportation to and from Giant’s Ridge. It’s about a 3 hour drive from St. Paul. We’ll coordinate car-pooling for those who are interested.
