Going on 6 years ago my good friend and ski buddy Mari suggested we join the 3M Ski Club. She and I have skied together since we were kids but neither of us had many other friends who liked to ski. She thought it would be a good idea to join the club to meet more skiers and be able to go on some of the trips they offer. Since joining the club, I have skied at 5 beautiful ski resorts I had never skied before, had a blast on each of the trips and met a lot of super fun people who like to ski. What I didn’t expect when I joined was all the other fun activities the club offers all year long. Happy Hours, Wine Tastings and Kayaking to name a few. I have thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the club and after helping lead one of the ski trips, I’ve now just finished my first year on the board. It’s a fun group to be a part of and I enjoy being able to help the club. I hope I’m able to continue on the board as I find it fun and rewarding.
