Dear 3M Club – Ski, Snowboard, and Social Club members,
As COVID-19 escalates in the United States, our club would like to take precautions to protect our members and prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are cancelling/postponing all club social events through April. This includes our newly beloved “Time for One Twosday” happy hours and our Year End Banquet & Silent Auction. The future of the banquet is yet to be determined as we navigate this new territory together.
We recognize that many of you would like to continue the social aspect of our club while staying home or practicing social distancing. I welcome you to join our virtual community on Facebook group “Hootline”. In this group, you can share personal experiences (stories/photos from a ski trip, grieve over a cancelled trip), buy/sell pre-used equipment, or share a ski/board-related article that others may find interesting.
As we continue life in this new experience, please continue kindness to our community. It’s like that time when Elaine (on an episode of Seinfeld) was in the bathroom stall and noticed she was out of TP. Let’s all “spare a square”. 😊
